Secunderabad, 12 July 2024: Zigly (pet care business of Cosmo First Limited), India's first tech-enabled omnichannel pet care brand, is leaving no stone unturned to ensure its vision of holistic pet care reaches maximum paws and their humans. In line with the brand's mission to provide optimal services across key cities in the country, Zigly is introducing vet care services at its experience center in Secunderabad. This will also meet the increasing demand for affordable as well as standard pet care facilities within India.

Across India, the number of pets has crossed 20 million due to rising disposable income, changing attitudes and acceptance of pets, dynamic lifestyles and increased awareness of pet health and wellness. However, with the rise in pet ownership, over 70% of pets in India still lack access to regular veterinary care with just 10% receiving preventive healthcare. When a pet’s medical situation arises, a lack of emergency vet access can result in serious complications.

In light of this and to assist pet parents in providing quick medical care for their furry friends, Zigly’s quality vet services across its experience centres will provide such pet parents with much-needed veterinary support. The vet services will include consultations, preventative care, diagnostics, and surgery facilities.

Sharing her views on the launch of the vet care service, Dr. Bhagyalaxmi, Veterinary Consultant, Zigly Secunderabad experience centre said, “Vet care services is crucial to ensure our furry friends are safe 24/7. With this expansion we are now ready to offer holistic care (nutrition, grooming, medical support) under one roof. We believe that this expansion will help pet parents able to ensure the best health and happiness of their pets with our team of experts. Our goal is simple: to create a happy space for pets by meeting all their needs in one welcoming environment.”

Zigly is targeting the veterinary sector intending to develop it as a supporting industry in India’s animal care market.
