Telangana CS Somesh Kumar holds meeting with Officials on IT Grid Policy

Hyderabad: Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana directed the officials to prepare a blueprint for the development of   IT all areas around Hyderabad under IT Grid Policy. It is noted that on the initiative of the Minister for MA&UD K.T.Rama Rao, the Cabinet cleared the IT Grid policy (Growth in Disperse). The Policy aims at the setting of IT Parks and other facilities in other parts of the City in Industrial Parks. These Industrial Parks are now in midst of Hyderabad city and it is difficult to carry out industrial activities. These are supposed to be shifted to beyond the outer ring road.

Chief Secretary held a review meeting with various stakeholders on the development of IT Industries in Uppal, Nagole, Katedan, Kompally, and other areas in the city.

Chief Secretary directed to obtain feedback from Stakeholders by 27th, January on preparation of master plan for the development of areas with better infrastructure facilities.

Chief Secretary informed that, as per the vision of Hon’ble Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao,  the Government has decided to promote IT in all areas in a time bond manner.  Chief Secretary advised to conducted meetings with stakeholders along with Government machineries on the approach of Government in the development of areas.

Jayesh Ranjan, IAS., Prl. Secretary, ITE&C, Narsimha Reddy,VC&MD,TSIIC, Amarnath Reddy,CRO,ITE&C, representatives of CREDAI, TREDA and other officials were present in the meeting.

Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana held a meeting with Officials to prepare action plan to complete the process of reducing compliances burden:

As per the directions of Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao, Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana conducted a meeting with senior officials to prepare an action plan to complete the process of reducing compliances burden across the number of licenses/permissions, Inspections, returns,  filings, registrations, records and display requirements by February 2021.

The burden of compliances are high with respect to 7 Departments - Revenue (CT & Excise), Civil Supplies, Transport, Energy, Home, MA&UD, LET&F  were directed to internal analysis and create subgroups to complete the process.

Chief Secretary informed that the Department for Promotion of industry and Internal Trade shared certain Acts and regulations pertaining to Telangana and requested to examine State acts and regulations in order to simplify the existing process of implementation of the same.

Three Member Committee headed by Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana meeting on PRC Committee Report:

As per the directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister K.Chandrashekhar Rao, the three member committee headed by Somesh Kumar, IAS., Chief Secretary, Govt. of Telangana held a  meeting at BRKR Bhavan today.

The Committee discussed about the PRC Report and agreed for the proposed discussions with various employees associations. Along with PRC Report all the other issues such as time bound promotions, trauma free service, extension of retirement age were also discussed.  A schedule was also drawn for meeting with various employee associations.
