Plot Summary:
The story is set in a coastal fishing village in Srikakulam district, where the fishermen rely on the sea for their livelihood. Raju (Naga Chaitanya) is the leader or "Thandel" of his group and the sole support for his family after losing his father. Satyabhama (Sai Pallavi), a village girl who has also lost her mother, loves Raju and is raised under her father's care.

Raju embarks on a fishing expedition but does not return for nine months. Satyabhama, who dreams of marrying him, is filled with anxiety about his fate and pleads with him to quit fishing. However, Raju believes that abandoning his duty as a fisherman would be wrong.

However, the underutilization of talented actors like Mime Gopi in minor roles is a missed opportunity. Similarly, Babloo Prithviraj’s flashback segment could have been conveyed through dialogues rather than visuals.
