Dhoom Dhaam
  • Heartwarming Father-Son Sentiment
  • Vennela Kishore Brings the Laughter
  • Slow First Half, Engaging Second Half
  • 'Dhoom Dhaam' as a Time-Pass Entertainer

Chetan Krishna, previously seen in various roles, tries his hand at a more lighthearted approach in Dhoom Dhaam. Directed by Sai Kishore Macha, with production led by Chetan's father MS Ram Kumar, Dhoom Dhaam stars Hebah Patel as the female lead. Comedy talents like Vennela Kishore and Praveen add humor, while seasoned actors Sai Kumar and Banerjee play key roles. Let’s see if Dhoom Dhaam lives up to its promise as an entertaining ride!

Plot
Ramraju (Sai Kumar) is a father willing to go to any lengths for his son, Karthik (Chetan Krishna), who in turn deeply respects and loves his father. Unexpectedly, Karthik falls for Suhan (Hebah Patel), who also ends up traveling to Poland to be with him. They both plan to marry with their parents' blessing.

However, when Karthik learns that Suhan’s father is Mahendra Bhupati (Vinay Varma), he and his friends are in for a shock. How are Karthik and Bhupati's family connected? What challenges do they face, and will Karthik and Suhan’s wedding go as planned? To know all the answers, you’ll have to watch Dhoom Dhaam.

Analysis
With a story penned by Gopi Mohan and directed by Sai Kishore Macha, who apprenticed under Srinu Vaitla, Dhoom Dhaam promised humor in classic Vaitla style. True to form, the movie keeps an entertaining tone, though the story is familiar, resembling films like Ready and Dhee.

The father-son bond is a highlight and helps the story stand out. Although the first half feels slow, focusing on Karthik's relationships with his father and Suhan, the second half picks up with engaging humor and family drama. Vennela Kishore’s comedic timing, particularly in the second half, keeps audiences laughing, and a catchy special song featuring Mangli adds a local flavor. If the first half’s scenes between Karthik and Suhan had been stronger, the opening half could have matched the energy of the second.

Performance
Chetan Krishna delivers a decent performance as Karthik, though his dialogue delivery and emotional depth could be improved. Hebah Patel complements her role well, bringing charm to her scenes. The real show-stealer, however, is Vennela Kishore, whose humor lights up the second half. Sai Kumar impresses as the doting father, while Goparaju Ramana, Vinay Varma, and Banerjee make their mark as the Bhupati Brothers. Praveen and Naveen as Karthik’s friends add to the fun, while Mangli’s song is a notable crowd-pleaser.

Technical Aspects
The cinematography effectively captures the colorful Polish locations and wedding sequences. Gopi Sundar’s music, especially the background score, adds to the film’s emotional and humorous moments. Although the screenplay is formulaic, the comedic dialogues resonate well. For a debut, director Sai Kishore Macha shows promise, though more attention to the first half could have elevated the film.

Final Verdict
Overall, Dhoom Dhaam works as a time-pass entertainer with moments of genuine laughter and sentiment, especially in the second half. With a few improvements, particularly in the first half, it could have been a more engaging film.
