Why is Sudheer Varma Directing Scenes for 'Game Changer'?
The film 'Game Changer,' featuring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, is currently in production under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, produced by 'Dil' Raju. Kiara Advani stars opposite Ram Charan in the film, which is slated for a Sankranti release on January 10, 2025. With parts of the film's shooting still pending, the makers have decided to expedite the process by operating two separate units simultaneously.
From November 17, director Shankar has been filming scenes in Vijayawada, while another unit is working concurrently in Hyderabad. This second unit is being directed by Sudheer Varma of 'Swamy Ra Ra' fame. Previously, director Sailesh Kolanu of 'HIT' movie fame had helmed the second unit's shoot. It has been reported that Sudheer Varma began directing certain scenes in Hyderabad starting November 18, featuring actors Subhalekha Sudhakar and SJ Suryah.
Sources indicate that after a couple more days of shooting, Shankar is set to travel to Chennai for post-production work, leaving Sudheer Varma to continue overseeing the second unit. Recently, the 'Game Changer' teaser was unveiled in Lucknow. The film's team also plans to visit several key cities across India for promotional tours soon.
'Game Changer' is a political drama, with Ram Charan playing a dual role, including that of a powerful election officer. The movie also stars actor Srikanth in the role of a chief minister. Music for the film is composed by S.S. Thaman.
