Bollywood Actress Attacked in Hyderabad: Invited for Shop Opening, Pressured into Prostitution

A Bollywood actress was allegedly attacked in Hyderabad after refusing to engage in prostitution despite being invited for a shop inauguration. According to police reports, a Mumbai-based Bollywood and television actress was invited to Hyderabad by a female friend on the 17th of this month to attend a shop inauguration. The friend reportedly assured her that her flight charges and remuneration would be covered. Following this, the actress arrived in Hyderabad on the 18th and was accommodated at an apartment in Shyam Nagar Colony, Masab Tank. An elderly woman at the apartment arranged for the necessary facilities for the actress.
On the night of the 21st, around 9 PM, two women allegedly approached the actress at the apartment and pressured her to engage in prostitution. Later that night, at around 11 PM, three men reportedly entered her room and also pressured her to spend time with them. When the actress refused, they allegedly assaulted her. The actress screamed and threatened to report the incident to the police, which prompted the men to flee the scene.
Shortly after, the two women and the elderly woman allegedly confined the actress in the room and fled with ₹50,000 in cash. The actress immediately called the police emergency number (Dial 100) and filed a complaint. The police arrived at the scene, rescued the actress, and registered a case based on her complaint. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
