Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Divorce: Shocking Truth Revealed!
Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife Dhanashree Verma have officially divorced by mutual consent. On Thursday, the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai granted the couple’s divorce petition.
“The family court has accepted the joint petition filed by Chahal and Dhanashree seeking divorce by mutual consent,” said Nitin Gupta, Chahal’s lawyer. Gupta further stated to the media that they are no longer husband and wife.
However, a surprising detail emerged from the couple’s divorce petition. Although Chahal and Dhanashree got married in December 2020, the petition reveals that they have been separated since June 2022, barely a year and a half into their marriage.
As part of the divorce settlement, Chahal agreed to pay Dhanashree ₹4.75 crores as alimony. According to the family court, he has already paid ₹2.37 crores.
