Venkateswara Swamy Temples Planned Nationwide: Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, along with his family, is currently in Tirumala to celebrate the birthday of his grandson, Nara Devansh. Following a donation of food at the Annaprasadam Center in his grandson’s name, Chandrababu Naidu held a key review meeting at the Padmavathi Guest House. The meeting focused on Tirumala’s development and was attended by TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, EO Shyamal Rao, and other officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Chandrababu Naidu stated that thousands of devotees visit Tirumala daily, and many contribute generously towards the free meal services. He emphasized that personally serving food to devotees brings immense satisfaction, which cannot be measured. He encouraged everyone to work for societal welfare and asserted, “The Seven Hills belong to Venkateswara Swamy.” He insisted that no impure or inappropriate activities should take place on the Seven Hills.
Chandrababu Naidu also mentioned that many wrongdoings had occurred over the past five years and reminded the audience that during the election period, he had vowed to cleanse Tirumala. He stated that after coming to power, he took the necessary actions to fulfill that promise. He alleged that permission was previously granted to the Mumtaz Hotel, which was allocated 20 acres adjacent to the Seven Hills.
He further revealed that his government took action by canceling the allotment and also revoked land allocations totaling 35.32 acres to various organizations. He asserted that commercial activities near the Seven Hills would not be allowed and made it clear that there was no place for personal interests in these sacred areas. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that protecting the assets of Venkateswara Swamy remains their primary goal.
He insisted that only Hindus should be employed in the Tirumala temple and stated that orders had been issued to remove non-Hindu employees from the TTD. Additionally, he announced a plan to construct Venkateswara Swamy temples in the capital cities of all states across India, urging state Chief Ministers to come forward and expedite the temple constructions.
Moreover, he declared that temples would also be built in locations worldwide with significant Hindu populations. To support the construction of these temples, a special temple trust would be established. Chandrababu Naidu also introduced a new initiative called “Madhava Seva,” modeled after programs like Annadanam (food donation) and Pranadanam (life donation).
