IPL 2025: Robin Uthappa Comments on RCB’s New Captain Rajat Patidar

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will be led by Rajat Patidar in the IPL 2025 season. This marks Patidar’s first experience as a captain in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Meanwhile, Axar Patel will also be serving as the captain of Delhi Capitals for the first time. Commenting on the new captains, former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa shared his perspective.

According to Robin Uthappa, while both Axar Patel and Rajat Patidar are new to captaincy, Axar Patel is likely to perform better as a leader. However, Uthappa noted that Patidar could benefit from adopting Virat Kohli’s leadership qualities and may rely heavily on Kohli’s guidance in this regard.
