High Court Dismisses Cases Against CM Revanth Reddy and KTR

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) have received relief from the Telangana High Court, which has dismissed cases registered against them in separate police stations.

A case was filed against Revanth Reddy at the Narsingi Police Station in March 2020 concerning the unauthorized use of a drone in Janwada. At the time, Narsingi police had taken him into remand. Subsequently, Revanth Reddy filed a petition in the Telangana High Court seeking the dismissal of the FIR. His legal counsel argued that Janwada was not a restricted area and that the case was registered under incorrect sections. After hearing the arguments, the High Court quashed the case against him.

Case Against KTR Dismissed
The Telangana High Court also dismissed a case filed against K.T. Rama Rao at the Saifabad Police Station. The case was based on a complaint lodged by MP Anil, alleging that KTR had made provocative remarks against Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. KTR approached the High Court, seeking the dismissal of the case, arguing that it was politically motivated. After reviewing the arguments, the court quashed the FIR.
