AP Assembly Congratulates Sunita Williams on Safe Return from Space

The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly has extended its congratulations to astronaut Sunita Williams and her fellow crew member Butch Wilmore on their safe return to Earth after a prolonged nine-month mission in space.

Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu expressed his happiness over the astronauts’ successful landing, stating, “It is a moment of joy that both astronauts have safely returned to Earth.” He further praised their dedication, highlighting that their journey serves as an inspiration to humanity.

He specifically commended Sunita Williams for her courage, perseverance, and contributions to space research, emphasizing her remarkable achievements in the field of space exploration.

Sunita Williams, along with three other astronauts, had been stranded in space for nine months before embarking on their return journey aboard SpaceX’s Crew Dragon. Their spacecraft successfully landed in the waters off the coast of Florida at 3:27 AM on Wednesday.
