If One Becomes Greedy, Struggles Are Inevitable: Actress Annapoorna

Veteran Telugu actress Annapoorna, widely known for portraying motherly roles on screen, recently shared her perspectives on various social issues in an interview with "Big TV." Known for her articulate speech, she discussed parenting, youth behavior, and materialistic desires in the modern era.
Expressing concern over changing parenting styles, Annapoorna remarked, "Parents themselves are responsible for their children's ignorance. Both parents are busy with jobs and, instead of guiding their children, they hand them money whenever they ask. This prevents children from understanding the value of hardships."
She further pointed out that due to a lack of parental involvement, children do not openly express their thoughts, leading to severe consequences. "When parents fail to spend time with their children and understand their emotions, youngsters are unable to handle even minor struggles, sometimes resorting to extreme steps like suicide," she said.
Speaking about love in today's society, she stated, "Love nowadays is nothing but a lie. Some youngsters are driven by temporary attractions and, in the process, bring disgrace to their families. It is crucial for them to think wisely before making decisions."
Addressing the issue of materialistic desires, Annapoorna opined, "Many people today are driven by greed. They want to own what others have, regardless of their financial capacity. As a result, they end up purchasing expensive cars and flats without considering their affordability. To gather the necessary funds, some even resort to fraudulent means."
She concluded with a metaphor, emphasizing patience and financial wisdom: "You can't rush forward just because there are pebbles on the road—you must wait until you find a smooth path. The same applies to life. As long as we avoid greed, we remain healthy, and as long as we stay healthy, we live comfortably."
