TTD Announces Special Darshan Facility for Telangana Public Representatives

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced a special privilege for public representatives from Telangana. Starting from March 24, TTD will allocate special darshan slots based on recommendation letters from Telangana legislators, a move aimed at extending the facility to representatives of the state.
In the past, there were allegations that Telangana public representatives were not given due consideration by the then TTD administrators and officials. However, under the directives of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and with the special initiative of TTD Chairman B.R. Naidu, a system for accepting recommendation letters from Telangana representatives is now being implemented.
As per the new arrangement, VIP break darshan will be allotted on Mondays and Tuesdays for those with Telangana recommendation letters. Additionally, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, special entry darshan tickets priced at ₹300 will be available under this quota. Each recommendation letter from a public representative will allow darshan for up to six people.
Meanwhile, for Andhra Pradesh public representatives, recommendation letters for Monday darshan will no longer be accepted. Instead, TTD will now accept letters on Saturdays for Sunday darshan.
TTD stated that the decision was made after thorough discussions and consideration of various factors. The temple administration also requested devotees to cooperate with the staff regarding these new changes.
