Chandrababu Slams Jagan, Accuses Him of Avoiding Public Interaction

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu strongly criticized former Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that he never engaged with the public during his tenure. Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government of leaving the state in financial ruin, claiming that it accumulated a debt of ₹10 lakh crore over five years.

On Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu visited Tanuku in the West Godavari district as part of the ‘Swarna Andhra – Swachh Andhra’ initiative. Speaking at the event, he questioned Jagan’s accessibility to the public during his time as Chief Minister.

"Did Jagan ever step out among the people? Even when he traveled by car, he had curtains drawn on the windows. If he flew, he had countless trees cut down for helicopter landings. He never attempted to understand public grievances and did not even allow people to voice their problems," Chandrababu Naidu alleged.

He further stated that the new coalition government would not operate in the same manner. Emphasizing his commitment to addressing public concerns, Chandrababu Naidu said that his visit was aimed at directly hearing the people's issues.
