If Given the Opportunity, I Will Go to Rajya Sabha: Yanamala Rama Krishnudu

Senior Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Yanamala Rama Krishnudu has expressed his willingness to enter the Rajya Sabha if given the opportunity by the party. Otherwise, he stated that he would retire from active politics. Speaking informally with media representatives in the Assembly lobbies yesterday, he revealed his stance on his political future.
Yanamala Rama Krishnudu, who has been associated with the TDP since its inception, has served in various ministerial roles and is currently a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council. His tenure in the Council is set to conclude at the end of this month.
Discussing recent political developments, he mentioned that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu spoke with him on the day the TDP announced candidates for the MLA quota MLC seats. He said he welcomed the selections made by the party leadership. Yanamala also expressed gratitude to Chandrababu Naidu for giving him the opportunity to serve as a Legislative Council member twice.
Commenting on the changing landscape of politics, he remarked that politics has become increasingly expensive, which he believes is not beneficial for democracy.
