Mitchell Starc Hails India’s Cricket Depth, Calls KL Rahul ‘Mr. Fix-It’

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc has heaped praise on Indian cricket, highlighting the country’s depth and versatility. At the same time, he lauded KL Rahul as the player capable of addressing Team India’s challenges.

Speaking on Fanatics YouTube TV Channel, Starc asserted that only India has the ability to field three different strong squads simultaneously for Test, ODI, and T20 formats. He emphasized that no other country has managed to assemble a high-quality playing XI across all three formats at the same time.

Furthermore, Starc described KL Rahul as Team India’s “Mr. Fix-It,” stating that Rahul is a key player who can resolve the team’s issues. The Australian pacer praised Rahul’s adaptability, noting that he excels in multiple roles, including opening, wicketkeeping, fielding, and finishing matches.

Both Starc and Rahul are set to represent Delhi Capitals (DC) in the upcoming IPL season. The Delhi-based franchise acquired Starc for ₹11.75 crore in the mega auction, while Rahul was secured for ₹14 crore.
