Return of the Dragon’s Success Delays OTT Premiere

The film Return of the Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan, Kayadu Lohar, and Anupama Parameswaran, was released in theaters on February 21. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the comedy-drama was released in both Telugu and Tamil languages, with music composed by Leon James.

Despite a modest pre-release buzz, the film has been performing exceptionally well at the box office. Made on a budget of ₹35 crore, the movie has reportedly grossed over ₹120 crore so far. Industry sources suggest that Return of the Dragon continues to draw strong audience interest in several regions.

Due to its ongoing theatrical success, Netflix, which had originally planned to stream the movie on March 21, has now reportedly postponed its digital release to March 28.

The film’s storyline follows a college student who falls in love, leading to setbacks in his studies. It takes him a long time to get back on track, but he eventually achieves success in life. However, people from his past reappear at this juncture, leading to unexpected developments in the narrative.
