Jagan Vows 30 Years in Politics, Asserts YSRCP's Future Course

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has decided to boycott the Andhra Pradesh Budget Session. Earlier today, Jagan and other YSRCP members attended the Assembly, where they staged a protest demanding that the party be granted the status of the main opposition. Following the protest, YSRCP members walked out of the Assembly.

Subsequently, Jagan held a crucial meeting with YSRCP MLAs and MLCs at the party office in Tadepalli. During the meeting, he stated that the government had no intention of recognizing YSRCP as the principal opposition party. He declared that the party would not attend the Assembly sessions.

Jagan further asserted that he would remain active in politics for the next 30 years and emphasized that only those who stand by him would be considered his true supporters. He urged party members to take their fight to the people despite the absence of official opposition status. Additionally, he mentioned that Jamili elections (simultaneous elections for Lok Sabha and state assemblies) are expected to take place in February 2028.
