Virat Kohli Breaks Sachin Tendulkar’s Record

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli has reached a remarkable milestone, surpassing a record previously held by batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar. In today’s Champions Trophy match between India and Pakistan, Kohli completed 14,000 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs), making him the fastest batsman to achieve this feat.

Tendulkar had taken 350 innings to reach the 14,000-run mark, whereas Kohli accomplished it in just 287 innings. With this achievement, Kohli has now overtaken Tendulkar in terms of speed to this milestone in ODI cricket.

Despite Kohli’s record-breaking feat, Tendulkar still holds the record for the most runs in ODIs, having amassed 18,426 runs. Following him in second place is Sri Lankan cricket legend Kumar Sangakkara, who scored 14,234 runs in the 50-over format.
