BJP Shielding Congress CM Revanth Reddy: KTR

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is acting as a protective shield for Telangana Chief Minister and Congress leader A. Revanth Reddy. He claimed that despite alleged financial irregularities involving central funds—from Amrit tenders to the Civil Supplies scam—the BJP has not taken any action against Revanth Reddy.
KTR stated that BRS has repeatedly submitted evidence to the central government regarding these alleged misappropriations, yet the BJP has remained silent. He criticized the central government for swiftly responding to the Kaleshwaram project incident but not reacting to recent issues such as the Sunkisala and SLBC mishaps.
KTR further alleged that the BJP’s inaction suggests a tacit understanding between Revanth Reddy and the party. “The BJP protecting Revanth Reddy has become a million-dollar question,” he remarked. He also suggested that the BJP's reluctance to act against the Chief Minister stems from a potential political agreement, stating, “There is suspicion that Revanth Reddy has assured the BJP of joining at the right time, which is why the central government is shielding him.”
