YS Jagan to Visit Srikakulam District Today

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit Srikakulam district today. His visit is aimed at consoling the family of YSRCP leader Palavalasa Rajasekharam, who recently passed away in Palakonda.
According to the schedule, YS Jagan will depart from his residence in Tadepalli by helicopter at 11:00 AM and is expected to reach Palakonda at 2:00 PM. He will meet the family members of YSRCP MLC Palavalasa Vikrant and offer his condolences. After the visit, he will proceed directly to Bengaluru.
Senior YSRCP leader and former MP Palavalasa Rajasekharam, aged 81, recently passed away due to health-related issues. The news of his demise was brought to YS Jagan’s attention by Vizianagaram District Zilla Parishad Chairman Majji Srinivasa Rao. At that time, YS Jagan had conveyed his condolences over the phone to Rajasekharam’s son, MLC Vikrant, and daughter Shanti. Today, he will personally visit their residence to extend his support.
YS Jagan had returned to Tadepalli two days ago from Bengaluru. On Tuesday, he visited the Vijayawada district jail to meet and console former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi. On Wednesday, he toured the Guntur Mirchi Yard, where he interacted with farmers and assessed their difficulties. During his visit, he strongly criticized the government over the hardships faced by chili farmers.
