Delhi Airport Authorities Seize ₹6 Crore Diamond-Studded Necklace

Authorities at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport have seized an extremely valuable diamond-studded necklace worth approximately ₹6.08 crore from a passenger attempting to smuggle it into India. Customs officials revealed this information on the social media platform 'X' on Sunday.

According to officials, the passenger arrived in Delhi from Bangkok on February 12 and was subjected to a routine inspection. During the search, authorities discovered the high-value necklace, weighing around 40 grams and embedded with diamonds. The individual was identified as a resident of Gujarat.

A case has been registered, and further investigations are underway, officials stated.
