Young Man Kidnapped and Tortured in Tenali Over Unpaid Wages

A shocking incident of kidnapping and torture unfolded in Tenali, Guntur district, where a young man was lured under the pretense of receiving his pending salary and subjected to brutal treatment.
According to the victim, Satish, a native of Peddapuram in Kakinada district, he had previously worked for Manideep, a businessman from Tenali operating in Hyderabad. However, after quitting the job, Satish was owed two months’ salary. He repeatedly contacted Manideep, requesting his pending payment.
Recently, when Satish called again, Manideep allegedly asked him to come to Vijayawada to collect the money. Believing this to be true, Satish traveled to Vijayawada on Friday evening. Upon arrival, he was forcibly taken in a car by Manideep and four others and driven to Tenali.
During the journey, the group assaulted him, and later, he was confined in a house and subjected to electric shocks. In the middle of the night, the abductors attempted to transport him elsewhere by car. However, as they were crossing the Tenali-Guntur bridge, Satish noticed a police vehicle approaching. Seizing the opportunity, he screamed for help. Startled, the kidnappers stopped the car, allowing Satish to escape and alert the police.
Following the incident, authorities detained some of the suspects. Further investigations are underway.
