After ‘Boys,’ Thaman Returns to Acting After Two Decades

Renowned Tollywood music composer S. Thaman is set to make his return to acting after a long hiatus. Before establishing himself as a leading composer in the industry, Thaman had briefly appeared as an actor. He was last seen on screen 23 years ago in director Shankar’s Tamil film Boys (2003). Now, after more than two decades, he is making a comeback with the Tamil film Idhayam Murali, starring young actor Atharvaa Murali.
On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the promo for Idhayam Murali was released, hinting at Thaman’s significant role in the film. Industry insiders have noted that Thaman looks impressive on screen after all these years. His dialogue delivery has also been appreciated, with many stating that he has brought his unique style to the role.
In addition to acting, Thaman is also composing music for Idhayam Murali. He has been making waves as a composer, recently showcasing his musical prowess in Dacoit Maharaja. He is also working on the highly anticipated soundtracks for Akhanda 2, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, and OG, featuring Pawan Kalyan.
