Raja Singh Makes Sensational Comments Against His Own Party, BJP

Goshamahal BJP MLA Raja Singh has made sensational remarks against his own party, alleging that he has been facing harassment since joining the BJP in 2014. Expressing his dissatisfaction, he stated, "If the party does not need me and wants me to leave, I am ready to step away immediately."
Raja Singh lamented that he has been fighting against the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Congress, and the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) for years, but now finds himself compelled to battle within his own party. Calling it an unfortunate situation, he criticized the BJP’s internal decisions.
He revealed that he had suggested that the Golconda district president post be given to a leader from the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Backward Class (BC) community. However, he alleged that the party ignored his recommendations and instead appointed someone who is associated with AIMIM. He questioned the rationale behind this decision.
Raja Singh further claimed that when he confronted a senior BJP leader over this appointment, he was told that they were unaware of the matter. He interpreted this response as evidence of a hidden conspiracy against him within the party.
The MLA demanded an explanation for why his recommendation was overlooked, despite the general practice of appointing a district president based on the suggestion of the local MLA. He also called for the immediate removal of the newly appointed district president.
Expressing his concerns about the BJP's prospects in Telangana, Raja Singh remarked, "The BJP should have come to power in the state long ago, but as long as such retired individuals remain in the party, the BJP will never come to power here."
