In a Must-Win Match, Pakistan Players Display Unsportsmanlike Behavior Against South Africa – Video Goes Viral

Ahead of the Champions Trophy, the Pakistan cricket team, which has been in dominant form, faced severe criticism for its conduct during the match against South Africa. In what is considered the "gentleman’s game," Pakistan’s players were accused of highly inappropriate behavior.

As part of the ongoing triangular series, Pakistan played against South Africa yesterday in Karachi. With a place in the final at stake, Pakistan delivered a commanding batting performance, chasing the target of 353 runs with an over to spare, losing only four wickets. Captain Mohammad Rizwan scored 122, while Salman Agha smashed 134. Pakistan is set to face New Zealand in the final on Friday.

However, the match was marred by controversy surrounding the behavior of Pakistan’s players. The first incident involved a heated exchange between Pakistan bowler Shaheen Afridi and South African batter Matthew Breetzke. After Breetzke played a shot and attempted to run, Shaheen deliberately positioned himself in the middle of the pitch, obstructing him.

Another incident occurred after South African captain Temba Bavuma was run out. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel and Kamran Ghulam were seen approaching Bavuma in an apparent attempt to provoke him. Following this, the on-field umpires were seen discussing the matter with Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan.
