APPSC Releases Group-2 Mains Hall Tickets

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced the release of hall tickets for the Group-2 Mains examination. APPSC Secretary I. Narasimha Murthy stated in a press release on Wednesday that candidates can download their hall tickets from the official website starting Thursday. The Group-2 Mains examination will be conducted offline on February 23, with two papers scheduled in the morning and afternoon sessions. The exam will take place across centers in the 13 combined districts of the state.

Initially, APPSC had planned to conduct the Group-2 Mains examination on January 5, 2024. However, following requests from candidates for additional preparation time due to syllabus changes, the exam was rescheduled to February 23.

The previous government had issued the APPSC Group-2 notification on December 7, 2023, with the online application process open from December 21, 2023, to January 10, 2024. The Group-2 Preliminary examination was held on February 25, 2024, and a total of 92,250 candidates qualified for the Mains. However, the Mains examination faced multiple postponements before the final confirmation of the February 23 date.

Through this notification, APPSC aims to fill a total of 905 vacancies.
