India Clinches ODI Series 3-0 with a Dominant Victory Over England

India secured a clean sweep against England in the three-match ODI series with a resounding 142-run victory in the final match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. After losing the toss, India was put to bat first and posted a formidable total of 356 runs in 50 overs before being bowled out.
Young opener Shubman Gill was the star of the innings, scoring an impressive century (112). Virat Kohli (52), Shreyas Iyer (78), and KL Rahul (40) also contributed significantly to India's strong total. England's bowling attack saw Adil Rashid claim four wickets, while Mark Wood took two. Saqib Mahmood, Gus Atkinson, and Joe Root picked up one wicket each.
Chasing a daunting target of 357, England crumbled under India's disciplined bowling attack and was bowled out for 214 in 34.2 overs. India's bowlers delivered a collective effort, with Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, Axar Patel, and Hardik Pandya each claiming two wickets. Washington Sundar and Kuldeep Yadav chipped in with one wicket apiece.
For England, Tom Banton (38), Gus Atkinson (38), Ben Duckett (34), Joe Root (24), Phil Salt (23), and Harry Brook (19) were the only notable contributors. Captain Jos Buttler (6) and Liam Livingstone (9) failed to make an impact.
Earlier in the tour, India had also secured victory in the T20I series, winning 4-1 in the five-match contest. England managed just a single win in the entire tour, triumphing only in the third T20I, while suffering defeats in all three ODIs.
