Shubman Gill Sets a New Record in ODIs!

Ahmedabad: Indian opener Shubman Gill has achieved a significant milestone in the third ODI against England. Gill became the fastest batsman to score 2,500 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs), reaching this landmark in just 50 innings.

India, having lost the toss and put into bat first, suffered an early setback when captain Rohit Sharma was dismissed for just one run. However, the team recovered with a strong partnership between Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill. Kohli, who has been struggling with form recently, scored a half-century (52), while Gill notched up his third consecutive fifty in the series.

The duo built a solid 116-run partnership for the second wicket, stabilizing India's innings. At the end of 23 overs, India stood at 147/2, with Gill unbeaten on 78 and Shreyas Iyer at the crease with 8 runs.
