AP Government Announces Mega DSC Notification for March

The Andhra Pradesh government has delivered good news for job seekers, as the School Education Department has announced plans to release a Mega DSC (District Selection Committee) notification in March for the recruitment of 16,247 teacher posts. The department has further stated that the recruitment process will be completed by June. Additionally, officials mentioned that an alternative to GO 117 will be introduced.
Kona Sasidhar, Secretary of the School Education Department, highlighted that previously, teachers had to manage 45 different mobile applications, but these have now been consolidated into a single app. He also revealed that a Teacher Transfers Act is in the pipeline and that the proposal has been submitted to the government. The matter is expected to be tabled as a bill in the upcoming Assembly session.
Regarding universities, Kona Sasidhar stated that once the Vice-Chancellor (VC) appointments are completed, a unified law will be implemented across all universities in the state.
The School Education Department is carefully planning the Mega DSC notification to ensure that there are no legal hurdles in the recruitment process. The 16,247 teacher posts to be filled through this recruitment drive include:
