YSRCP Councillor Shahida Joins TDP in Pulivendula

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has intensified its focus on Pulivendula Municipality, a stronghold of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Having already secured control over several municipal corporations and municipalities in Andhra Pradesh, TDP is now strategizing to challenge YSRCP's dominance in Pulivendula. As part of this effort, the local TDP cadre is actively working to bring influential YSRCP leaders into its fold and is keeping the party high command informed about the evolving political landscape.

In a significant political shift, Shahida, the YSRCP councillor from the 30th ward of Pulivendula Municipality, has joined TDP. Along with her, 20 YSRCP-supporting families also switched allegiance to TDP. Sources indicate that more YSRCP leaders and workers are expected to follow suit in the coming days.
