‘Happy Sunday’ to Be Launched Soon in Andhra Pradesh: Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed officials to ensure that no pending files remain by the end of this month. He emphasized that with the transition to an online system, the clearance of files should not be delayed. Addressing a workshop attended by ministers and secretaries, Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials to clear all non-financial files immediately. He stressed that achieving a 15% growth rate in Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) is crucial for meeting the state’s development targets and urged everyone to work towards this goal.

Chandrababu Naidu pointed out that an increased number of grievances in a particular department indicates inefficiency in its functioning. He highlighted that a significant number of complaints were being received in the Revenue Department, attributing this to mistakes made by the previous government. He emphasized the need to enhance public satisfaction through all possible means and ensure governance that aligns with people's expectations.

The Chief Minister also underscored the importance of training through ‘Mission Karmayogi’ to improve the efficiency of government employees. He called for process re-engineering in WhatsApp Governance, ensuring all services are made accessible to citizens. As per the Swarnandhra Vision, he instructed each department to operate with clear targets. He further directed IAS officers to conduct field visits and announced that guidelines for this initiative would be released soon.

Chandrababu Naidu also set a target to secure maximum central funds by March and announced the launch of the ‘P4’ initiative on Ugadi. Additionally, he revealed plans to introduce the ‘Happy Sunday’ program, aimed at strengthening interpersonal relationships. He instructed officials to formulate guidelines for this initiative, emphasizing that true happiness comes from meaningful contributions to society. He noted that dedicated efforts have already yielded positive results in several sectors.
