CM Revanth Reddy Mourns Death of Hyderabad Residents in Madhya Pradesh Accident

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has expressed deep shock over the deaths of eight Hyderabad residents in a road accident in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and directed officials to take immediate relief measures. Revanth Reddy also instructed authorities to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical care.

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Contacts Jabalpur Collector

Union Minister of State Bandi Sanjay called the Jabalpur Collector after learning that all the deceased were residents of Nacharam, Hyderabad. He also spoke with the Superintendent of Police (SP) to gather details about the accident. Bandi Sanjay urged authorities to provide full assistance to the injured and expedite the legal formalities to send the bodies back to Hyderabad at the earliest.

Death Toll Rises to Eight

A total of eight Hyderabad residents lost their lives in the tragic accident that took place in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. The victims were returning from the Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, when their mini-bus was hit by a truck. Seven people died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries during treatment at the hospital. Authorities confirmed that all the deceased were from Nacharam, Hyderabad.

The accident occurred near Sihora in Jabalpur around 8:30 AM when a cement-laden truck, traveling on the wrong side of the national highway, collided with the mini-bus. At the time of the accident, 14 people were onboard. Local residents and police rushed to the scene, transporting the injured to Sihora Hospital for treatment.

Initially, authorities believed the victims were from Andhra Pradesh, as the mini-bus had an Andhra Pradesh registration number. However, after verifying documents found near the bodies, police confirmed that the victims were from Nacharam, Telangana.
