Seven Hyderabad Pilgrims Die in Madhya Pradesh Road Accident

A tragic accident has left Hyderabad's Nacharam locality in mourning after a group of pilgrims met with a fatal road mishap in Madhya Pradesh. Twelve people from Nacharam were returning from the Kumbh Mela in a mini-bus when their vehicle collided with a truck near Jabalpur. The accident occurred around 8:30 AM on Tuesday, killing seven passengers on the spot, while the remaining five were trapped inside the bus.

Local authorities stated that rescue operations were carried out to extricate the injured passengers, who were then rushed to the hospital. According to eyewitnesses, a cement-laden truck was traveling on the wrong side of the highway near Sihora in Jabalpur. The speeding mini-bus carrying the pilgrims crashed into the truck, leading to the fatal collision.

Initially, authorities believed the passengers were from Andhra Pradesh due to the mini-bus's registration number (AP 29 W 1525). However, upon examining documents found at the accident site, police confirmed that all the deceased were residents of Nacharam, Hyderabad.
