Viveka Murder Case: Jail Threats to Dastagiri Under Investigation

The investigation into the threats faced by approver Dastagiri in the Viveka murder case is ongoing. Dastagiri, who is currently lodged in Kadapa Jail, reportedly received threats from Dr. Chaitanya Reddy. Rajahmundry Central Jail Superintendent Rahul has been appointed as the inquiry officer for this case and has been conducting investigations in Kadapa over the past few days.
As part of the probe, Rahul recently questioned TDP leader BTech Ravi. During their time in Kadapa Jail, Dastagiri and BTech Ravi were housed in adjacent barracks. Rahul questioned BTech Ravi about whether Dr. Chaitanya Reddy had entered Dastagiri's barrack. In response, BTech Ravi confirmed that he had seen Dr. Chaitanya Reddy entering Dastagiri's barrack. He further stated that he had immediately questioned the jail staff about Chaitanya Reddy’s presence in that area.
Inquiry officer Rahul has already questioned Dr. Chaitanya Reddy and Kadapa Jail Superintendent Prakash regarding the matter. Additionally, he has interrogated jail staff as part of the ongoing investigation.
