Attack on Chilkur Priest: Pawan Kalyan Demands Strict Action

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has strongly reacted to the attack on Chilkur Balaji Temple’s chief priest, C.S. Rangarajan, expressing deep anguish over the incident. He stated that learning about a mob assaulting Rangarajan was deeply distressing and described the attack as unfortunate. Pawan Kalyan emphasized that this was not merely an assault on an individual but an attack on the protection of Dharma itself.

"Rangarajan has been dedicated for decades to safeguarding Dharma, preserving temple traditions, and maintaining their sanctity. A group identifying themselves as ‘Rama Rajya’ members attacked him, and the police must thoroughly investigate the reasons behind this. Those orchestrating this attack must be identified and punished strictly. The Telangana government must take this incident seriously," said Pawan Kalyan.

He further revealed that Rangarajan had previously provided him with valuable suggestions for Sanatana Dharma preservation and insights on when to launch the 'Temple Movement.' "He has been deeply committed to Hindu temple administration and Dharma protection. The attack on him must be condemned by all. I have directed the Telangana wing of Jana Sena to visit Chilkur, offer him support, and assure him of our solidarity," Pawan Kalyan stated.
