AP, Delhi People Realized Their Mistake and Overcame Hardships: CM Chandrababu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reacted to the Delhi Assembly election results, addressing the media from his residence in Undavalli. He stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) victory in Delhi was not just a triumph for the city’s residents but also a victory for the entire nation. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized that the election results reaffirmed that only a “People’s First” governance model can succeed. He highlighted that after 27 years, the people of Delhi had entrusted BJP with power, calling it a historic moment.

Chandrababu Naidu alleged that certain leaders were engaging in corruption under the guise of welfare programs, leading to political degradation. He criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, stating that Delhi had become overwhelmed with garbage under its rule. He further pointed out that specific policies had turned Delhi into one of the most polluted cities. Referring to Punjab, he noted that the state once had a stellar reputation across various sectors, but today, it is often associated with drug-related issues.

Turning to Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu accused the previous YSRCP government of fostering a liquor mafia. He asserted that policies implemented in both Andhra Pradesh and Delhi had failed to deliver success. According to Chandrababu Naidu, the governments in both states ignored the aspirations of the people, which ultimately harmed their future and destroyed opportunities. He questioned the necessity of leaders who fail to create wealth and increase government revenue. Chandrababu Naidu stressed that living standards and per capita income should improve, but instead, these aspects had declined in Andhra Pradesh and Delhi.

However, Chandrababu Naidu stated that the people of Andhra Pradesh and Delhi had realized their mistake and overcome their difficulties. He cited Gujarat as an example of successful governance, attributing the state's high growth rate to stable administration. He noted that Gujarat had surpassed several other states in per capita income.
