"I Suffered from This Illness Because of My Fans": Actor Siddharth

Tamil actor Siddharth, who was once popular among Telugu audiences as a romantic hero, has seen a significant decline in his career over the years. Following a series of box-office failures, he struggled to regain his lost stardom. Despite efforts to make a strong comeback, success remained elusive.
In addition to acting in lead roles, Siddharth also appeared in guest roles in various films. However, he has also been in the news due to several controversies. Recently, he made a startling revelation that has shocked his fans—he disclosed that he had been suffering from a rare illness, which he claimed was caused by his fans.
In a recent interview, Siddharth said, "I am suffering from a rare illness, and it is because of my fans. Many actors in the film industry chase stardom, and I did the same. But after achieving stardom, I found myself afflicted with this rare condition due to my fans. Instead of enjoying my success, I faced numerous difficulties."
He further elaborated, "Many fans used to follow me and were eager to talk to me. But I used to feel anxious and fearful while interacting with them. This caused me significant stress. At one point, I consulted a doctor to understand why I was feeling this way. That’s when I was diagnosed with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), a rare condition. It took me nearly seven to eight years to recover from it."
Following this revelation, Siddharth’s fans have been left in shock, with many expressing surprise that such an illness could be caused by the pressures of stardom.
