AAP Faces Setback as Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia Lose

In a surprising turn of events, the Delhi election results have delivered a major setback to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Former Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has lost his seat from the New Delhi constituency. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Parvesh Verma emerged victorious, defeating Kejriwal by a margin of over 3,000 votes.
Additionally, former Deputy Chief Minister and key AAP leader Manish Sisodia also faced defeat. Contesting from the Jangpura constituency, Sisodia lost by more than 600 votes. Despite expectations that public sympathy following his recent imprisonment might work in his favor, it did not prove sufficient to secure his victory. BJP candidate Tarvinder Singh won the seat.
Meanwhile, AAP secured its first victory in the assembly elections from the Kondli constituency, where AAP candidate Kuldeep Kumar won against BJP's Priyanka Gautam with a margin of 6,293 votes. On the other hand, BJP opened its account in the Lakshmi Nagar constituency, where Abhay Verma secured a win.
