Chandrababu Naidu’s Campaign Boosts BJP’s Lead in Key Delhi Constituencies

The counting of votes for the Delhi Assembly elections is underway, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gaining a decisive lead. The party is leading in 45 out of the total 70 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is ahead in 24 seats, and the Congress in one. After 27 years, the BJP appears to be on the verge of returning to power in Delhi.

Voters seem to have distanced themselves from the AAP, which has been facing corruption allegations. The results so far indicate a strong rejection of the party by the electorate.

As a key ally of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu actively campaigned in the Delhi elections on behalf of the BJP. During his campaign, he strongly criticized the AAP and its leader Arvind Kejriwal, asserting that Delhi would witness true development only if the BJP came to power.

Significantly, the BJP is leading in all constituencies where Chandrababu Naidu campaigned. The party has gained an advantage in constituencies such as Shahdara, Vishwas Nagar, Sangam Vihar, and Seemapuri, where he addressed rallies and appealed to voters.
