PM Modi Engages with Film Industry Leaders on WAVES; Chiranjeevi Thanks Him

The Indian government has initiated preparations for the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), scheduled to be held later this year. As part of these efforts, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a video conference on Friday with prominent figures from the film industry and business sector to gather their suggestions and insights.

Notable participants in the conference included Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Hema Malini, Deepika Padukone, Mukesh Ambani, and Anand Mahindra.

Expressing his gratitude for being included in the discussion, megastar Chiranjeevi thanked Prime Minister Modi through a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).

"Honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi, my heartfelt thanks for this honor. Being a part of the WAVES advisory board and sharing my perspectives alongside other esteemed members is truly a privilege. I have no doubt that WAVES, Modi’s visionary initiative, will elevate India's 'soft power' to its rightful global stature. Looking forward to exciting initiatives and new beginnings," Chiranjeevi posted.
