BCCI Presents Diamond Rings to Team India Players – Here's Why!

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has presented diamond-studded rings to Team India players. These special rings were awarded during the recent BCCI awards ceremony. Designed with a blend of blue and gold, the rings feature the inscription "T20 World Champion India" along with the Ashoka Chakra on the top. Additionally, the sides of the rings are engraved with the players' names, jersey numbers, and the margin of victory in the final match.
This grand gesture by BCCI comes as a tribute to Team India's T20 World Cup 2024 victory. Under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India clinched the title after a thrilling final against South Africa in the West Indies, winning by seven runs. This victory marked India's second T20 World Cup triumph.
Following the historic win, BCCI had announced a ₹125 crore cash reward for the team. Now, the board has further honored the players by presenting these commemorative rings, celebrating their remarkable achievement on the global stage.
