Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to Inaugurate AP Assembly Training Program

Ahead of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly budget session, which is scheduled to begin on June 24, the state government is planning to conduct the session for at least 20 days. With a significant number of newly elected members in the Assembly this time, Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu has decided to organize orientation sessions to familiarize them with legislative procedures.

These training sessions will take place on June 22 and 23 in the Committee Hall of the Assembly. The program aims to educate MLAs on Assembly proceedings, their responsibilities, and the decorum to be maintained during sessions.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has been invited as the chief guest for the inaugural session of the training program. On the second day, former Vice President Venkaiah Naidu will attend the closing ceremony and provide valuable insights and guidance to the newly elected legislators.

On June 24, Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer will address both Houses of the Legislature to mark the commencement of the budget session. A Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting will be held afterward to finalize the duration of the session.
