Tragic Suicide of a Couple at Tirumala’s Nandakam Guesthouse
A tragic incident occurred in Tirumala, where a couple was found dead in a guesthouse in an apparent case of suicide. The incident took place at the Nandakam Guesthouse, where the couple—Srinivasulu Naidu and his wife Aruna, residents of Abbanna Colony in Tirupati—were found hanging from a ceiling fan using a saree in Room No. 203.
The couple had checked into the room the previous morning. However, when they did not come out for a long time, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) staff grew suspicious and peeked through the windows, only to find them hanging. The staff immediately alerted the police.
Authorities arrived at the scene and sent the bodies to Ruia Hospital in Tirupati for post-mortem examination. The reason behind their suicide remains unknown. The police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
