AP Assembly Budget Session to Start on February 24, Budget Likely on February 28

The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly sessions are set to commence on February 24, beginning with the Governor’s address to both Houses. The budget session will formally open with this address, setting the stage for legislative discussions.
On February 27, the Assembly will hold a discussion on the motion of thanks to the Governor’s speech. The coalition government is considering conducting the Assembly sessions for a total of 15 working days. However, a final decision on the duration will be made following the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting on the first day of the session.
The state budget is expected to be presented on February 28. In preparation for the Assembly proceedings, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed his ministers to be fully prepared with subject-specific details for the discussions.
