Ram Gopal Varma Appears Before Police for Questioning

Film director Ram Gopal Varma appeared before the police for questioning in connection with a case related to the alleged morphing of images of political leaders. A case was registered against Varma over allegations that he had edited and posted morphed photos of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, including N. Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and Nara Lokesh, on social media. Following a police notice summoning him for questioning, Varma appeared today at the Ongole Rural Police Station. His interrogation is set to take place in the presence of his lawyer.

Before appearing for questioning, Ram Gopal Varma met YSRCP leader Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy. The meeting took place at a hotel in Velampalli, Maddipadu Mandal, in Prakasam district. The details of their discussion remain undisclosed.
