AP Cabinet Decisions Announced by Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy

Andhra Pradesh Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy briefed the media following the state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. He stated that the cabinet approved the AP Knowledge Society Capacity Building-2025 initiative. He also mentioned that in the past, the Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Center was operational, but now, aligning with central government policies, a similar center will be established in Amaravati.
The cabinet also approved amendments to the MSME policy to support SC, ST, BC, and women entrepreneurs. Parthasarathy stated that the government has decided to provide special incentives, including in the electricity sector, to industrialists.
“We have approved the subsidy requested by Coromandel International. Additionally, the cabinet sanctioned the appointment of 15 supervisors for Tirumala laddu production. A decision was also made regarding compensation for farmers in the Chennai-Bengaluru Industrial Corridor, with affected farmers set to receive ₹8 lakh per acre,” he said.
To streamline land registrations, the state will implement advance time slots and introduce a dynamic queue management system at registration offices. Addressing housing for the underprivileged, he alleged that the previous YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) government neglected this issue, and the ruling alliance discussed measures to rectify it.
Regarding the Polavaram project, Parthasarathy emphasized the urgency of completing housing for displaced families. He stated that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to ensure basic infrastructure in rehabilitation colonies. Furthermore, the Chief Minister stressed that electricity tariff burdens should not be imposed on the public.
