TDP Secures Hindupur Municipal Chairman Post

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has strengthened its presence in Andhra Pradesh following the formation of the coalition government. In a recent development, TDP has secured the Hindupur Municipal Chairman position, with Ramesh Kumar elected to the post.

Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna congratulated Ramesh Kumar on his victory and personally seated him in the chairman’s chair. In the voting process held today, TDP secured 23 votes, while the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) candidate Venkata Lakshmi received 14 votes. Hindupur MLA Balakrishna and Member of Parliament Parthasarathi also participated in the voting.
