Honda Unveils New Version of Amaze Car at a Competitive Price

Japanese automobile giant Honda continues to enhance its offerings in the Indian market. After recently unveiling the Apex version of its City car at the Bharat Mobility Expo in Delhi, Honda Cars India is now introducing a refreshed version of its Amaze model.

The new Amaze is a facelifted version featuring modernized exteriors and interiors. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 7-speed automatic CVT transmission. The car is powered by a 1,199cc engine, delivering a mileage of 19.46 km per liter under standard conditions, according to Honda. The Amaze also comes equipped with Honda's signature i-VTEC engine.

Similar to the Honda City, the new Amaze offers seven rhythmic ambient lighting themes. The front of the vehicle features a LaneWatch camera, designed to detect vehicles ahead and alert the driver using Honda Sensing technology. Additionally, the car includes advanced features such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), adaptive cruise control, and a lane-keeping assist system.

For infotainment, the Amaze is equipped with an 8-inch HD display, a wireless phone charger, a six-speaker sound system, and wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Safety features include six standard airbags, positioning the new Amaze as a strong competitor in its segment.

The starting price of the new Honda Amaze is ₹7,99,000 (ex-showroom). The top-end ZX variant is priced at ₹9.69 lakh (ex-showroom), as per Honda Cars India’s official website.
