Vijayasai Reddy Lauds Union Budget for Supporting Middle-Class Families

Former Member of Parliament Vijayasai Reddy has praised the Union Budget 2025-26, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, describing it as a "middle-class budget" that will be remembered for years to come.

The NDA government unveiled the annual budget yesterday, with Sitharaman announcing an income tax exemption for earnings up to ₹12 lakh. Reacting to this, Vijayasai Reddy stated that the middle class is celebrating the relief measures introduced in the budget.

He also highlighted that this marks a record eighth budget presented by Nirmala Sitharaman. According to him, the tax relief, reduction in customs duties, and strong economic reforms will empower hardworking families and further strengthen India's developmental trajectory.
